We couldn't be more thrilled with how our project turned out! The team at Scapeland was great to work with throughout the entire process. When our utility lines were located in some bad spots throughout our lot they quickly pivoted from our original plan with an even better option than what we had initially envisioned.

We were truly impressed with the work that Scapeland did on our large project, which included two large retaining walls, buried drain pipes, multiple days of rough grading, and a final grade. We're definitely happy with how it turned out, but more importantly, we truly appreciated the care and dedication that Jake's crew demonstrated throughout the almost 3 week project. Their attention to detail and pride in their work was evident in every aspect of the project. We're so grateful to have chosen Scapeland for this significant undertaking.

We're really happy with our new patio. The detail on the stonework is top notch. But what really impresses me is how well the customer/contractor relationship worked throughout the process from bidding to completion. We had a few bumps in the road - and when they happened, the manner and professionalism by Jake, Logan, and the team was refreshing. Also, as others have written, the quote process was extremely well thought through, detailed, and our iterating on the design with Jake was easy. We will use Scapeland again.

We had an amazing experience with Scapeland Madison installing artificial turf for our dogs. Jake, the owner, was extremely knowledgeable and walked us through the entire process while keeping us informed about scheduling and when the project would begin. They delivered exactly as promised and answered all of our questions and concerns along the way. The crew, Logan and Dominic, were so pleasant to work with and took the time to address all of my questions during the installation. As someone with a Type A personality, I was definitely nervous about having our yard ripped up for the turf installation, but the finished product turned out amazing. After interviewing several companies and getting multiple quotes, it was clear that Scapeland Madison was the best choice. Their level of knowledge, communication, professionalism, and ease to work with, they truly stood out. They definitely went above and beyond without hesitation. Scapeland Madison did an excellent job on our three retaining walls. We had our 23 year old boulder rock retaining walls removed and replaced with interlocking block walls, which are beautiful! Jake and Logan take great pride in their work, are on-time, professional and hardworking. Jake is extremely responsive to email/text/calls. Soon after the walls were installed, we had torrential rain for three days. The repair work they did on our lawn around the block walls washed away. Not only did they come back and repair the lawn for no charge, but they also installed a mitigation drain system to prevent any possible flooding in the future no matter how much it rains. Great Work! Jake provided great ideas, patiently answered our questions in advance and easily adjusted the project as we identified a couple changes at the last minute. This company goes above and beyond landscaping! They are amazing at what they do for a fair price. Recently, we had a dog escape our fence during work they were doing. They jumped to action and brought our big lady home :) I couldn’t be happier with this company! Hire them!!!

Jake and Logan were fantastic to work with. Prompt, responsive, professional, kind, and thorough. We had three old boulder retaining walls removed by them, and then they replaced with block retaining walls - along the same footprint. Spring storms/rains caused water in our 23yr old (previously dry) basement. Jake assessed the next day and immediately went to work on remedial efforts. He followed up multiple times throughout the summer and after big rains, to ensure our basement was dry. His team came back twice to bring new soil/re-seed. He stands by his work, his team and his company - and goes the extra mile to ensure his customers are satisfied. Definitely recommend Jake and Scapeland Madison.

Highly recommend hiring Scapeland for your landscaping needs. Our new build ended up being a challenging job due to the constraints of our lot, but Jake exceeded our expectations in every way. He created a brilliant initial design, and when the builder's rough grade forced us to adjust our plans, he came up with an alternative design that was even better than the original. Throughout the entire process, Jake kept us informed and updated. Whenever changes were needed, he always presented various options and recommendations without pushing us toward a particular choice. His professionalism and respect for our vision made all the difference in turning a difficult situation into a landscaping project we're truly proud of.

I had them do a simple retaining wall. It has not collapsed, so I am happy with it. Pretty easy to work with.

Scapeland stepped up and removed my mother-n-laws in ground pool filled the hole and laid the sod. This process took less than a week. Jake and the crew did a wonderful job. Seamless process and everyone was so kind!

Jake and his team did a great job for us on our landscape project. Scapeland did an awesome job for us with building our patio with the pergola. Their recommendations for our patio and our lawn were great and helped us a lot. We are very happy with how well our retaining walls look! We needed them rebuilt, which was tricky with all the existing landscaping and irrigation in place. We bid out the project and Jake sold us by asking questions the others didn’t. We were confident in our choice by how thorough the specifications were in the bid. A great experience working with Scapeland on my backyard hardscape fire pit, natural stone flower bed, and culvert projects. We had a great experience with Scapeland. I contacted them about poor drainage in a vegetable garden bed at the bottom of our hill and also some possible larger shrub plantings. Jake responded immediately, set up a time to meet, and was great about communicating the day of when it looked like we might get rained out. He gave a timely quote, was honest that his schedule was full until August but he felt that this was a small enough job he could fit it in between some of his larger ones earlier in the summer. It ended up being way earlier than I anticipated, I'll still be able to plant veggies this year! He was great about communication, patient as he waited on me to figure out shrubs since I didn't think it would be this quick. He and his teammate showed up right when they said they would, worked hard all day and finished the job in a day and a half. Jake was a great communicator the entire time and flexibly quoted and then added on a buffer rock "wall" for me that we hadn't talked about before. He also followed up after the next rainfall to see if I had any issues with drainage and restated to please call him if we had any issues, he would come and fix them right away. It was a great experience and I will definitely use them again if we have any other landscaping needs.
